Putting vision into practice is what I do.
The big-picture:
I’m a learning systems, program, and operations professional with over 14 years of experience across education, online learning, program and project coordination, and client support, grounded in a master’s degree in anthropology and education.
I’m especially skilled at helping people translate ideas into clear structures, break complex initiatives into manageable steps, and create systems and experiences that feel supportive, human, and sustainable.
At the core, I’m motivated by work that serves something meaningful. I’m drawn to thoughtful, mission-driven work that supports growth, strengthens systems, and contributes to a more compassionate and connected world. When we partner together, we can create solutions that are far more impactful than any one person could build alone.
A bit more about how I got here:
My perspective is shaped by a multicultural background. I was born in Jerusalem and grew up speaking two languages, which has given me a deep respect for difference, context, and lived experience. This worldview shapes how I approach learning, collaboration, and the relationships at the heart of meaningful educational work.
Early in my career, I was drawn to mentorship and imagined myself becoming a university professor. While completing my graduate studies, I came to see that traditional academic systems often left little room for the relational, learner-led teaching I valued most. That realization led me to pivot from academia and apply my educational background to online and professional learning environments.
Since then, I’ve worked alongside educators, business owners, leaders, and mission-driven organizations committed to making a positive impact in their fields. My teaching background continues to inform my work, helping shape ideas into learning experiences, supporting thoughtful program design, and creating space for learners and educators to lead their own growth.
On a personal note, I’m in a season of early parenthood, and I’m also a meditation teacher and practitioner, dancer, and nature lover. My family and I live in the mountains of San Diego County in California, on the unceded land of the Kumeyaay and Payómkawichum people.
I’m attentive to energy, rhythm, and the importance of rest, and I do my best work in thoughtful connection with others. These values shape both how I live and how I approach my work: thoughtful enough to be humane, structured enough to be supportive.

Reflections from people I’ve worked with
-

“Dori performs work that requires thought and detail with grace and accuracy. She is ideal for complex projects and big-picture responsibilities and her reporting and tracking skills are excellent. Dori is the partner you want at your side as you navigate your way from idea to reality.”
— Lizabeth Wesely-Casella, CEO of L-12 Services
-
“Dori is incredibly smart, strategic, and multi-talented. She's a strong systems thinker with a knack for technology — but she never loses sight of the big picture. Regardless of what she's working on, she does it well, and she makes sure that the final deliverable always hits the mark.”
— Maureen Lauder, Copywriter
-
“Dori always asks questions rather than making assumptions in order to draw conclusions and offer insights. She is one of the most caring and thoughtful people I've ever worked with. She has an incredible gift of active listening and will make you feel like you and your needs are most important when you're talking to her.”
— Hanna Woodside, Lead Operations
-

“Dori kept us on track. She’s extremely organized. My brain is incredibly scattered, and I’m a “shiny object” person. Dori is more process-oriented than I am and I need that. Having the documents she put together and knowing what we needed to do was extremely helpful.”
— Melissa Slavsky, founder of Compassion Digital, a boutique advertising agency
-
“Not only would I trust Dori to handle just about any challenge, but she also has a keen emotional intelligence that makes her at home with client relationships and helping them get the results they desire. I would love to have Dori on my team again!”
— Lizzie Merritt, Coach, eLearning Specialist, and Remote Team Culture Maven
-

“Dori’s strength is getting big picture visionaries to focus on clarifying their vision without feeling stifled or discouraged by the questions. She is able to use a coaching/mentoring mindset to get leaders to where they want to go while helping them recognize that they might not always be able to do everything all at once.”
— Tracy Huang, Project Manager
-

“I needed another business mind to bounce everything off of and provide advice to guide me along the right path.
Dori was able to see the bigger picture of where I wanted to go, broke it down into tasks, and helped me get there. She asked the right questions and made sure we were going in the right direction.“
— Kent Bascome, creator of the course Beginner’s Guide to Bookkeeping for Virtual Assistants -

“I ran my first-ever live course and improved my overall confidence in teaching and coaching!
One of the best parts of working with Dori is that I could always count on her. There was never a time I felt like I couldn’t. She’s also intuitive and highly emotionally intelligent.”
— Ashleigh Burskey, Brand Strategist
