Putting vision into practice is what I do!

Hi, I’m Dori — I’m really glad you’re here.

The big-picture:

I’m an educator and eLearning professional with over 14 years of experience and a master’s degree in anthropology and education. What guides my work is a deep appreciation for the learner’s perspective and a belief that meaningful learning experiences can genuinely improve the lives of educators and learners alike.

My expertise lies in designing and supporting highly engaged learning experiences that are both thoughtful and practical. I’m especially skilled at helping people translate ideas into clear structures, break complex projects into manageable steps, and create learning environments that feel supportive, human, and empowering.

At heart, I’m someone who wants to use my skills in service of something meaningful. I’m motivated by work that gives back, supports growth, and contributes—however quietly—to making our world a little more compassionate and connected. I believe that when we partner together, we can create something far more powerful than any one of us could alone.

Getting into the details:

My perspective is shaped by a multicultural background — I was born in Jerusalem and grew up speaking two languages — which has given me a deep respect for difference, context, and lived experience. This worldview helps me see the unique strengths of the people I’m privileged to support and approach learning work with curiosity and care.

Early in my career, I was drawn to mentorship and imagined myself becoming a university professor. While completing my graduate studies, I discovered that traditional academic systems often left little room for the kind of relational, learner-led teaching I valued most. That realization led me to pivot from academia and apply my educational background to online and professional learning environments.

Since then, I’ve worked alongside educators, leaders, and experts who are deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in their fields. My teaching background has been instrumental in supporting their work—helping shape ideas into learning experiences, planning thoughtful pathways forward, and creating space for learners to lead their own growth.

On a personal note, I’m a mom, dancer, meditator, and nature lover. My family and I live in the mountains of San Diego County, California, on the unceded land of the Kumeyaay and Payómkawichum people. I value spaciousness, reflection, and meaningful connection, and I do my best work when there’s room to listen, feel, and integrate.

“Dori is one of the most caring and thoughtful people I've ever worked with.

She has an incredible gift of active listening and will make you feel like you and your needs are most important when you're talking to her.

Dori always asks questions rather than making assumptions in order to draw conclusions and offer insights.”
